Immediately herbal and liqueur-like. Lots of aniseed, salted licorice, mugwort, and wintergreen. Feels like many ointments, medicines, and root extracts. It overlaps with sweet and thick peat smoke. Taste: Quite big among Calillas, with a taste that sticks in your mouth. Industrial elements such as coal tar soap, boiler smoke, and engine oil are mixed with natural tar extract, fir tree resin, and cured meat. Still great with aniseed and smoked fennel. Finish: Long, very tarry, sweet and medicinal, full of oily, leathery peat smoke, salve, and herbal liqueurs.
